The 5.11 Responder Parka is the ideal jacket for professional emergency responders who are the first on the scene and the last to leave. This 3-in-1 shell jacket is made from durably waterproof 10,000 mm fabric and features ¾ reflective tape at the hem, chest, and sleeves, as well as reflective piping along the sleeves and yoke at the front and back. Fully sealed seams provide a waterproof yet breathable construction, ensuring comfort and protection. The parka is lined with DuPont® point-laminated taffeta, providing reliable protection against blood and other pathogens.
The parka's liner features a warm, double-faced polyester fleece (290 g/m²) with abrasion- and water-resistant panels on the collar, shoulder yoke, and back of the forearms. Numerous pockets are compatible with the Back Up Belt System™, making gear easier and more ergonomically accessible. An independent laboratory confirmed that the material provides effective protection against the penetration of pathogenic microorganisms according to ASTM F 1671.
