SAM® Chest Seal / Thorax plaster without valve is an indispensable tool for tactical first aid equipment. Developed to treat open chest injuries and back wounds, it effectively prevents air from entering the chest cavity and thus a traumatic pneumothorax. The field-tested Chest Seal adheres securely even in extreme weather conditions and is quick to apply.
Once applied, the transparent and flexible plaster material protects the wound from external influences and, thanks to its special material properties, can also be detected by night vision optics.
