The 5.11 TacTec Plate Carrier is a high-performance plate carrier that, despite its ruggedness, remains lightweight and mobile. It can be used as both a fully functional plate carrier and a weighted vest for fitness exercises, while offering maximum comfort. Constructed of durable 500D nylon, this plate carrier features padded shoulder straps, perforated mesh, and a padded front and back with integrated ventilation channels. Its innovative design allows for maximum freedom of movement.
The carrier accommodates two ballistic protection plates (medium/large) and is equipped with a low-profile grab-drag rescue handle. A one-handed quick-release cable system allows for rapid removal of the plate carrier in an emergency. Secure, breathable, and exceptionally functional, the TacTec® Plate Carrier is ready for deployment or your next workout.

The TacTec® Plate Carrier is designed to accommodate medium and large ballistic protective plates according to ESAPI standards . The adjustable shoulder straps with back yoke and the adjustable, skeletonized, elastic waistband (sizes S-XL) ensure a perfect fit and maximum comfort.
Robust and durable
The plate carrier is made of robust 500D nylon and can withstand even heavy loads. Weighing only approximately 2000 g and with a volume of 40 liters, the backpack offers plenty of space for extensive equipment.
Practical details
The plate carrier features an admin pocket at the top of the front with a hook-and-loop closure and pull tab. Laser-cut MOLLE loops with loop-and-loop fasteners and webbing MOLLE loops allow for the attachment of additional gear.
